My talented Friend.

Malo E lelei everyone. This is my friend Joan and she is year 6 at Glenbrae School. She is a great person to me because she always tries to be a best friend . She is a role model person and a talented person. She is an expert year 6 person because she helps people if they are stuck with some thing that they don't know.

I hope that she tries to do that next year to one of her friends in year 7. Well I think that she will try and be a expert and a very talented person in year 7 next year.

Bike Safety Rules

Safe biking first, Yay! I am so proud of myself because last Thursday the 8th of December, we had a van arrive at the top of our field with bikes and helmets. They came because they needed to tell us rules about bikes and how to get safe on the road.

In the end I thought to myself that I know everything about biking and how to get safe.
I really enjoyed myself but I wish that they could come back next year.

My Poem.

Santa Claus is coming to town.
A lot of people having a fantastic day on Christmas.
Nice children dressing up like Santa Claus.

A lot of enormous teachers chasing Santa Claus down the road.

Music Graduation.

Early on Saturday morning I went with my mum to Tamaki Intermediate school for my music graduation. It was fun because I enjoy blowing my flute in front of the people. I got a certificate and I was happy.

Endagered Gorillas.

A gorilla is endangered because of their habitat loss. They are scared because hunters keep shooting them. But endangered gorillas are scared of hunters because they might take them to a very strange place so they can be killed by them.

Today I have been trying my best to get 100% in 30 seconds.  I tried my best today. I got 100% in 33 seconds but when it came to the last question it was too hard but I got it right. I am so glad that I had 100%. Next time I will try and make it under 30 seconds.

Flood.

Heavy rain hit the West Coast of New Zealand in the South Island. There was a baby and a mother and a 70 years old farmer who got rescued by the helicopter. They got rescued because they couldn't go back or forward. It was windy and stormy because the wind was blowing it very hard and very strong. I felt sad for these people in West Coast. I hope they get rescued.

Today I have been on a site called Mathematician. I did the 9 dividing. I had 95% and 38 seconds. But next time I will do it under 30 seconds. I tried my best.

This is my sister Candice. She is 4 years old but she is going to turn 5 on 26 of November 2011. She is awesome because every time we go to the shop she always asks my mum for clothes and lollies. She is a very kind person and a helpful person. She is so lovely to have as my sister.

Today I was doing my -9 and I got 100%.I really tried my best.I did it in 37 seconds.But next time I will try get it in under 30 seconds.

My awesome firework weekend.

Wow! It's fireworks day. All my family were waiting for it to become dark to light up their fireworks. We all looked outside to see if it was dark so we could light our awesome fireworks. After that, we heard a big loud  firework from our next door neighbor. So we all got our fireworks and we started with the small one and then big ones. Finally, it was finished. We still heard noises from every where but we just went back to sleep.

The Boy who cried wolf.

Hi my name is Victoria, Victoria the pink sheep.
I’ve been staying and working with the pink shepherd boy for a couple of years now. What we do everyday and every time is eat grass and eat grass every day delicious.

I’ve got a big problem the shepherd boy who looks after us is a liar. Also, I am sure that I can see 3 huge big black wolf hanging about. It is very scary!

Sheep and the shepherd boy run to the safety tree. The wolves can’t climb trees so they went away. So now the shepherd boy has to change his job. His job is now to feed the pink sheep and pick up rubbish everyday.

Maths Work

Today I've been going on to Nzmaths. On nzmath there are fractions on it and some dividing. If you go on it there might be some tricky stuff that they will tell about it.

The NZ Giant Weta

Introduction:
This report will give you some good facts about the NZ Giant Weta.
The Weta have lived for about 190 million years and were around when dinosaurs were around.

Physical Features:
The male has do not have that many spikes on them. They might put their back leg up to them to defend them self. They also got 3 main body and that is:the head,the thorax,and the abdomen.

Diet:
Their favourite food is gorse flowers and other invertebrate creatures smaller than them.

Habitat:
There are some quite Giant Weta that live in a place called the Mahoenui Reserve in Waikato, New Zealand. That place is mainly gorse bushes.

Predators:
The Weta’s main predator are rats because they are so big and Weta is small even though they have spikes on their legs.

Main Threats:
The Weta are scared of fires because it might destroy their bush that they live on.

Behaviour:
The Giant Weta are placid (gentle and kind)and the tree Weta are aggressive.

Conclusion:
Weta are so awesome because they are great insects to New Zealand. They are like a treasure to us and can be protected from any predators in a Reserve.

3 Dividing.

Today I went on to Math Magician. On math magician it only gives you 60 seconds of time and then when your finished, it might say something mins or something secs. If you either get 95% or 100% you did well! But if any is lower then I think you'll have to work a little hard. I had FUN it was COOL!

I have been on stuff.com looking for some news about the huge polar blast in Wellington. I thought that Wellington might say thats there first time having snow for 40 years that is quite a long time. But luckily it has gone.
